These boards are connected with the Kansas Historical Society by statute or federal law.
Kansas Antiquities Commission - reviews reports and requests as defined by the statute
Kansas Historical Foundation - provides financial, legal, and ethical oversight of the organization that helps to support the state agency
Historical Records Advisory Board - conducts historical records planning for projects developed and carried out within the state
Historic Sites Board of Review - meets to review and recommend nominations to the National Register of Historic Places and the Register of Historic Kansas Places
Law Enforcement Memorial - oversees activities related to the Kansas Law Enforcement Officers Memorial
State Records Board - oversees permanent preservation of important state records and provides an orderly method for the disposition of other state records
Unmarked Burial Sites - meets on an as needed basis in the event of disturbance, or threatened or potential disturbance, of unmarked burial sites
