The Cover
This Cyrus K. Holliday No. 1, the locomotive which now heads the Santa Fe railroad museum train, was an 1880 engine rebuilt in 1941 to resemble the first Cyrus K. Holliday, mentioned on pp. 13-14. The train, presently inoperative, is usually in storage in the Santa Fe's shops at Topeka. The color transparency is reproduced here through the courtesy of the Topeka public relations department of the Santa Fe.
