Contents: Describes alleged depredations by Osages upon Piankishawn Indians. Osages pass through their village on the way to buy whiskey and always steal horses. Also mentions alleged "war dance" by the Kickapoos. Cummins spoke with Chief Patsache who denied that the dance was a war dance. Cummins further expresses support for this chief, who has never lied to him.
