Contents: Reports the Shawnees have again asked for the money ($500) they feel is due them. Claim that it is unjust to withold money for the 20 or so stragglers who are not coming anyway. Cummins asks Pilcher to reply to this request as soon as possible, as Indians in general are more dissatisfied with no answer than they are by an answer of rejection.
