Scope and content: Mostly consists of Lieutenant Governor John McCuish's records regarding the start of the State Park and Resources Authority, the state agency that would eventually become part of the Dept. of Wildlife and Parks. Includes a copy of the Senate bill to establish the agency, correspondence particularly with newspaper editors around the state, newspaper clippings, and other such materials. Also in the folder is a copy of the 1962 Congressional Record with a eulogy for John McCuish.
