Summary: This collection includes letters and correspondences between Arthur Capper, Governor of Kansas, Chas. S. Huffman, Adjutant General of Kansas, General Wood, a commander at Camp Funston, and others regarding an outbreak of Influenza at Camp Funston. Following a quarantine of Camp Funston, family members of soldiers stationed at the camp expressed concerns to Governor Capper, which prompted an investigation of the facilities. The results of this investigation is discussed within this material. All of the correspondences in this collection are dated to October 1918.
