Scope and content: A letter to Kansas Governor Harvey from D. C. Skinner informs that he is qualified to perform the duties of Justice of Peace of Lincoln County. A petition from citizens of Liberty Township in Linn County request William H. Seymour elected as the Justice of Peace. A resignation letter from Amos Harrison as Justice of Peace of Blue Mound Township in Linn County. In the letter, Harrison recommends L. N. Harrison to fill the position.
