Scope and content: A letter on July 8, 1872, from Henry Booth, asks Kansas Governor Harvey to appoint George Cox as Justice of the Peace of Pawnee County. A petition from citizens of Pawnee County request Joseph Criley be appointed as Justice of the Peace. A petition from residents of Phillips County recommends William B.
