Scope and content: The following documents concern matters regarding Native Americans in Kansas. A petition from citizens of Osborne City, Kansas, request Governor Harvey to organize a company of calvary militia to ensure there are no attacks from Native Americans. A letter from Brigadier Major General, John Pope, states that he sent a copy of the Governors letter to the commanding officer at Camp Supply and reports on Native American activity.
