We look forward to connecting, learning, and exploring Kansas history at the Kansas Preservation Conference. The 2024 conference sessions will highlight historic preservation and archeology with a tribute to Newton-born archeologist, Waldo Wedel.

Conference sessions are being planned at various locations across the Newton community including the Meridian Event Center, the Kauffman Museum and Sand Creek path at Bethel College, the Carriage Factory Art Gallery, the Warkentin House Museum, the Harvey County Historical Museum (Carnegie Library), and at the Prairy Market & Deli event space downtown.
