Larry Cheney
Larry Cheney was born May 2, 1886, in Belleville, Kansas. Cheney was drafted by the Chicago Cubs and made his debut on September 9, 1911. Cheney pitched for the Cubs from 1911 to 1915 and then moved to the Brooklyn Robins, where he stayed from 1915 to 1919. Cheney was on the 1916 World Series team, but the Robins ended up losing to the Boston Red Sox. Cheney played for the Boston Braves in 1919 and then ended his career with the Philadelphia Phillies. Cheney died January 6, 1969, in Daytona Beach, Florida.
