Lucas School Gym is a 1948 one-story stone rectangular building in the Neoclassical Revival style. The gym is important for its unique Post Rock Limestone construction. Its period of importance is through the years of construction beginning in 1942 and ending in 1949, Construction was halted during World War II due to supporting the war efforts. It is a rare educational building made of the regional post rock material.
