Hollenberg Pony Express Station - Exhibits
Exhibits are presented in the historic station, the visitor center, and along the trail at Hollenberg Pony Express Station in Hanover.
Visitor center
Discover the story of the westward expansion, American Indians, commerce, settlers, trail life, and the Pony Express. A large mural depicts the Oregon-California Trail.
Tour rooms decorated with period furnishings, try on clothing from the historic time of the station, browse the station store, imagine yourself as a Pony Express rider, and see a mochila (mail pouch).
Hiking trail
Explore our trail, which winds across the grounds from the Visitor Center to the Station Building. Stop by the garden, which features a variety of native plants and grasses.
