Kansas Museum of History

Effective June 2: Open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Wednesday - Saturday; Museum Store: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Wednesday - Saturday. The Discovery Place will not be available at this time.

Kansas State Capitol Visitor Center

Effective June 14: Open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday; 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday; Capitol Store: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday; 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday

Tours

  • Historic: Monday - Friday 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m.
  • Historic: Saturday 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m.
  • No dome tours are available at this time

State Archives

Effective June 2nd, the State Archives are open Wednesday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m and the last Saturday of the month 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Restricted to six researchers at a time. We encourage visitors to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome if there is availability. To schedule an appointment, contact Lauren Gray, lauren.gray@ks.gov; 785-272-8681, ext. 284.

When you visit you can expect the following safety procedures: face coverings, frequent cleaning, plexiglass shields at check-in points, and physical distancing.
