The four allegorical murals were painted in 1882 by E. S. Miragoli and Company of St. Louis. These are prime examples of public building art for that period.
Above the Speaker of the House’s desk is the mural titled Law.
The mural to the left is History.
The mural to the right is First Dawn of Liberty.
The mural above the main entrance is Justice.
